Video Analytics as a Service — TRASSIR

Product owner: pricing, research and customer experience · Offer redesigned

The starting point

The platform offered several video-analytics tools, including object detection, face recognition, heatmaps and number-plate recognition. It needed clear packages, pricing and upgrade options for small businesses and enterprise buyers.

I worked across customer research, pricing, customer experience and development priorities to make the offer easier to understand and buy.

Package video analytics around customer needs and usage.

What I did

  1. Defined packages and upgrades I worked on pricing, tiered packages, feature boundaries and usage limits. The aim was a base offer that was easy to understand, with a clear line between what’s included and what costs extra.
  2. Designed the customer portal I designed mobile customer-portal flows in Figma. The scope covered self-service and upsell paths for smaller accounts as well as enterprise use cases.
  3. Prioritized development I used demand research and RICE prioritization to shape the backlog and sprint planning, with product metrics tied to usage and revenue goals. Packaging and UX were part of the same product decisions.

The outcome

Redesigned packaging and pricing, supported by customer-portal design and clearer product priorities.

The work covered pricing, packaging and portal design. The portal's production launch and the effect of pricing changes are not verified.
